Rearrange windows: <C-w>x, <C-w>r, <C-w>H J K L

Swap, rotate and move windows without closing anything.

3 drills

  1. Swap neighbours: <C-w>x: Swap the current window with its neighbour so the layout matches the goal.
  2. Rotate the row: <C-w>r and <C-w>R: Rotate the windows in your row or column until the layout matches the goal, in one press. Your cursor moves along with its window.
  3. Move to an edge: <C-w>H J K L: Move the current window to the edge shown in the goal, with <C-w> and a capital H, J, K or L.
